2023.04.09 Plants 본문
It has been almost two weeks since I brought in two indoor plants, Syngonium and Zamioculcas. I had already been growing three pots of Scindapsus but wanted to add more greenery to my place for spring. I was familiar with Syngonium as my parents have one in their place and I found their leaf patterns beautiful. Zamioculcas was new to me but I liked its Korean name “Money plant.” (I just googled it, and I also like its English nickname “ZZ plant.”)
I made sure to water them according to the guidelines on the Internet, and the results are good for Zamioculcas but bad for Syngonium. Unfortunately, several stems of Syngonium have started to wither. I could easily detect the change as the stems, unlike the normal ones standing straight, lower their head first and then turn dry and yellow. I thought the problem would be the sunlight, so I’m changing the position of the pot throughout the day to soak up the sun.
